Hendy customers in Devon were among the first in the country to see the brand-new sports car from Lotus with the unveiling of the Emira at Hendy Lotus in Exeter.
Hendy Performance brand manager John Haylett said those at the launch had been impressed with the Lotus Emira V6 First Edition which will retail at just under £76,000.
"It was great to be able to showcase this incredible new car to invited guests in person rather than a virtual launch," said John. "The feedback from customers was extremely positive and we have already taken the first orders for the new car. This car has captured the imagination of existing Lotus owners and those looking at a Lotus for the first time."
Lotus UK sales manager Scott Walker joined the Hendy team in Exeter for the unveiling and outlined some of the key features of the new car.
The Emira is an all-new mid-engine premium sports car which Scott said has attracted unprecedented demand since its launch. He said it is the first car from Lotus to truly be an everyday car and that the V6 First Edition is the most accomplished car ever made by Lotus.
The First Edition comes in one of six vibrant paint colours including Seneca Blue - which was seen at the car's unveiling at Hendy Lotus Exeter.
